Conditional access specialist Verimatrix has appointed Petr Perteka as chief technology officer.

Prior to joining Verimatrix, Peterka was a member of the technical staff in the CTO’s office at Motorola’s Home and Networks Mobility team. He will succeed Bob Kulakowski, a founder of Verimatrix, who remains a shareholder and an adviser to the company.
