View allTürk Telekom chooses Verimatrix for IPTV
Turkish incumbent telco Türk Telekom has deployed Verimatrix’s VCAS software-based conditional access technology to support its planned IPTV rollout.
Türk Telekom, which serves over 30 million customers in Turkey, plans to deliver a wide range of services, including live broadcast and video-on-demand, online voting , targeted advertising and catch-up TV. The platform will have the capacity initially to serve one million customers. SeaChange and Envivio are providing headend equipment for the service.
Verimatrix’s local partner in Turkey is systems integrator Birtel Network Technologies.
