Com Hem boosts VOD line-up

Swedish cable operator Com Hem has boosted its VOD offering with the addition of new content from three channels.

The addition of TV8, National Geographic and Disney Channel means Com Hem now offers on-demand content from 15 channels. Home On Demand users can also watch content from SVT 1, SVT 2, TV3, TV4, TV4 +, TV4 Fakta, Lattjolajban, Star!, Canal Plus Select, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and TV1000 Play. The operator will also launch HD movies on-demand next week.

In Stockholm, Com Hem calculates that 600 000 households will have access to the on service at the end of the year. By the end of 2011, the service will be available to 1.5 million households.
