Romanian pay-TV operator and telco Romtelecom has acquired the rights to the UEFA Champions League soccer tournament.
The pay broadcaster will air games from the tournament on its soon-to-launch Dolce Sports channel, which is available via the Dolce satellite pay-TV service and IPTV service. Dolce, which currently has around 900,000 subscribers, will share a handful of games with the Romanian public broadcaster TVR, and will also show a number of the matches on its online video service.
