PMPG on TV Puls acquisition trail

Polish media outfit Platforma Mediaowa Point Group (PMPG) is set to undergo due diligence as it looks to acquire commercial broadcaster TV Puls.

The media and marketing firm has signed a letter of intent and expects the sale to be completed by the end of August. A number of companies have been interested in acquiring the broadcaster, which is owned by the Franciscan Order of Monks and CEO Dariusz Dabski. The network was previously owned by News Corp, which sold its stake in 2008.
