Private equity company Permira will retain its stake in ProSiebenSat.1 for the foreseeable future and has said it is prepared to provide more financial assistance to the German free-to-air broadcast group if needed.
The Permira position was made clear in an interview with Joerg Rockenhauser, head of Permira Germany, carried in news magazine Der Spiegel.
