ODG partners with Inview for connected-TV VOD

Video-on-demand company On Demand Group (ODG) has partnered with connected TV specialist Inview Technology to launch transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) and subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services on connected TV sets in Europe.

Inview’s NEELiX platform is already incorporated in millions of connected TV sets. It includes an integrated EPG, media browser and personal scheduling tool offering video streaming for on-demand TV services.

ODG’s VOD services offered on the NEELiX platform will provide viewers with access to movies on a TVOD basis, and a library of on-demand TV content available on an SVOD basis including TV series, children’s programming, classic movies and music videos.

ODG said the service will be available in Italy in the second quarter of this year.
