New online TV service launches

UK-based online video-on-demand service FilmOn.com has launched a new website FilmOn.tv, that promises to deliver publicly available TV services over the web to Windows and Mac users.

According to FilmOn.com founder Alki David, the FilmOn.tv search engine searches for publicly available channels globally and then streams and indexes them for the service.
